IntriKate Consulting LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in Maharashtra, with its practice based in Pune. It exists to turn intricate policy and regulation into decisions people can act on.

The name

intricate + Kate = IntriKate

The name joins intricate, the kind of problem we take on, with Kate, the family name of our managing partner. The capital K marks the join.

Harshal Kate

Managing Partner

Harshal leads the firm's work on governance, regulation and sustainability disclosure.

He holds an M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas) and a B.Tech from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and is completing an LLB at Government Law College, Mumbai.

He has worked with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra. His research examines Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting by Indian listed companies, benchmarked against IFRS S1/S2, ESRS, GRI and TCFD.

Bhagyashri Jadhav

Designated Partner

Bhagyashri is a mechanical engineer who works on life-cycle assessment, circularity and the decarbonisation of manufactured products.

She holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Awasari, Pune, and an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Design from Cummins College of Engineering, Pune.

She has worked in product engineering and research and development with Cummins India, Johnson Controls and Danfoss, where she was ESG lead for a product division. She advises the firm on engineering and life-cycle questions alongside a full-time role in industry.

How the firm is governed

Both partners are designated partners under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008. The firm keeps a minute book, a conflicts register and an engagement file for every assignment, and its accounts are kept on the accrual basis.
